North side of Drive through now being prepared. Subgrade and AB test will be submitted.

Initial grading looks good to plan. Basins to the east of site are rough cut and look good to plan and survey. The site primarily will drain from the east of the building into the basins to the east side and then the rest towards the west and into curb cuts on the way. Curbs and curb cuts look good. The area contractor is now focusing on is the concrete Drive-through area to the east of the building. The subgrade needs to be compacted to 95% beneath and pavement. The AB needs to be compacted to 100% under pavement. Drive through subgrade will be 10" below finish grade. 6" pavement and 4" AB. Submit the results to the portal. The area is supposed to be ready on Wednesday to Check grade in ABC. Blue tops or string line are acceptable.

Contractor has prepped AB for drive-through on east side of building. Subgrade is 95 +%. Curb marks indicated 4” for AB correct. Expansion material in place at curbs. Contractor has installed the number four hooks tied into remesh at thickened edges, and tied it to remesh is placed in the rest of the slab. per plan. Forms look good.
Okay to pour this concrete. pending min 95% compaction tests for AB. Concrete needs to show 4000 psi

Also, the retaining wall along northern edge has under drain and gravel pocket, installed with the geographic in place correctly OK to backfill the retaining wall per plan. Terracon is testing backfill compaction.

Partial pass- you can call more if needed. I discussed with contractor the details in the lanscaping that we would be looking at including root barriers for trees that are closer than 5' to paving. Also the the depressed landscaping 6-9" below nearest pavement in water harvesting infiltration areas.
Request landscaping inspection for root barriers as discussed before covering them.

Planting matches landscaping plan well, the levels below asphalt look good in WHIAs look good and staking correct.

Trees root barriers are correct within 5' of all paving. 2' deep thick plastic panels, open sides pointing in direction without paving.

I went over the scope of work with contractor and what inspections need to be done.
09/08/2025 SITE - Sign Footer/Setback/Excavation Layout/Rebar Passed 9/8/25
Subcontractor set 4 light pole bases to 3’ above Asphalt.
the Finish grade on the 4 light poles is not the asphalt.

The 2 menuboards detail calls for 1” threaded rod for bolts. It is less.
The 2 height clearance bar footers also need to have grade verified.

Forms, setbacks, elevations, rebar and hardware are correct for all 4 light poles and 2 menu and 2 clearance pole footers. Okay to pour Footers.
