04/05/2024 ENGR - Drainage Structures N/A Partial Pass The trash and closure for this site is already been completed for the footer. The walls are in as well as the slab, the gates are the only thing that are missing at this time. This work is not per the Typical Design that is given in the handouts that we provide for this work. The Bollards have been placed at the wrong locations within the individual cells, this does not allow for the 10 foot open space between the Bollards and the Future Gate. Contact Andy Verra with Environmental Services at (520) 631-5160 and ask him to look at the Trash Enclosure and see if they will be able to Service this location as it has been Constructed.The Bollards should be removed and placed in their proper locations within the structure as shown on the Approved Standards
The contractor had called this inspection in for a retaining wall inspection along the east side of the property, but cannot be done at this time. The retaining wall has not been permitted, and there are no drawings of what is to be done, but I have taken photographs of the footer and will wait for the Plan to be submitted and reviewed. This inspection should be done by the building department since this is a wall that requires additional permits for retention.

07/23/2024 N/A Not Ready During the Site Inspection it has been noted that there have been changes in the plans that are not per the Approved plans. The Engineer of Record will need to ensure that all Modifications have been approved by the Engineering Section and meet all Codes and Standards.
07/23/2024 N/A Not Ready The plans have been changed for the pedestrian area that leads to the trash enclosure on the northwest corner of the site. The running area exceeds more than 5% and is now required to have handrail added on both sides if it remains as it has been constructed. The Roadway grades have been also changed in this area which creates over 5% running slope in a pedestrian pathway. I have requested the Engineer of Record to come up with a compliant solution for this site.
