| 07/11/2024 | ENGR Paving | Partial Pass | I met with a contractor on site today to look over the payment that has been completed. Most of the site looks OK, minor issues with an area of pavement that goes from the building to the trash enclosure being noncompliant for ADA. I have advised the contractor to have his engineer record contact to review staff for Zoning and Engineering, and find a solution for this area of noncompliance that exceeds more than 5% in the running slope. The roof drainage for this site still deposits directly onto the sidewalk, but the contractor has ordered ring gutters that have not been delivered at this time. Once the rain gutters have been delivered, they will install them and will ensure that the water from the drainage system is pipe directly into the sidewalks covers to prevent it from being deposited onto the sidewalk itself. The water harvesting basins that have been provided for this site have not been constructed per our standards and for the approved plans. The water harvesting basins need to be redone so that they are 6 inches below the inlet structure that allows for freeboard water of 6 inches or better. The contractor will have his landscape subcontractor, redo all of the areas and will notify us. Once they notify us, we will re-inspect all the water harvesting license to ensure that they have been constructed correctly so that they can be approved on this plan. |
