Perhaps it’s a drafting issue, but P-3 does not appear to have a trap, and the vent is shown running horizontally below the finished floor. You may want to consider using a combination waste and vent system for floor drains located in areas where installing a vertical vent is not feasible. Reference: Section 915, IPC 2024. [Initial comment: Clarify the waste and vent connection of the floor drain P-3 to the sanitary drain system (i.e., provide a riser diagram). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2024.]. 2. Based on the waste and vent schematic, A/P2.0, the emergency eyewash and shower , P5,is somehow directly connected to the sanitary drain system. Detail MD700 on sheet MD1.0, however, does not show such a connection. Direct waste connections are not required for emergency showers and eyewashes; these are typically handled by floor drains. Reference: Section 411.2, IPC 2024. 3. Provide a temperature-actuating mixing valve complying to ASSE 1071 to the hot and cold water supplies for the emergency eyewash and shower, P5.
