Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. _____1. Service, test and tag the automatic sprinkler system and provide the inspection report. _____2. Remove the wire from the Fire Department Connection and repair the coupling so they swivel easily.

Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. _____1. The double-keyed lock located on the office door shall be replaced with a thumb-turn lock. _____2. The double-keyed lock located on the Pro Shop door shall be replaced with a thumb-turn lock. _____3. The double-keyed locks located on the west EXIT doors shall be disabled to prevent their use. _____4. Remove the locking hasp from the west end storage door. _____5. The double-keyed locks located on the east EXIT doors shall be disabled to prevent their use. _____6. The double-keyed lock located on the east end meeting room door shall be replaced with a thumb-turn lock.

Locks and latches shall be permitted to prevent operation of doors where any of the following exists: 2.2. A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source, shall have an intensity of not less than 5 foot-candles (54 lux). Internally illuminated signs shall provide equivalent luminance and be listed for the purpose. _____1. The EXIT sign located in the east end meeting room shall be illuminated. _____1. Replace the burned out bulb in the EXIT sign located above the lounge west exit door.

The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises’ electrical supply.
