Please explain how the ticket room functions and if the occupancy exceeds 50, two accessible exits will be required. Please recalculate your occupancy load as per Table 1004.1.2, provide a listing of each area and reaffirm the exit and toilet fixture requirements.
3. Please provide panic hardware on all exit doors as required by the 2012 IBC, Section 1008.1.10.
4. If the North concrete panel wall separating the business area from the warehouse is rated at 2 hours, should not the west concrete panel wall have the same rating? Please note accordingly.
5. Provide the same 2 hour fire rating from the concrete panels to and including doors 137a and 137b or provide a rated overhead automatic fire shutter at the concrete wall opening.
6. As per table 716.5, doors located in a 2 hour fire rated partition require a 1.5 hour rating. This includes doors 140a, 140b and 141. As noted on the door schedule the indicated rating is not as per code.

SHEET A8.2a
10. At detail 19: As per the 2012 IBC, Section 1009.10, a flight of stairs shal not a vertical rise greater than 12'-0" between floor levels or landings. Please reconcile.
SHEET S3.1
11. The joist girder identification "JG 36" located on the west end of the n.e. corner of the canopy has no numerical identification.

04/22/2015 ROBERT SHERRY WATER REVIEW Completed
04/23/2015 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide energy code compliance calculations for the building envelope; use the climate zone for Tucson. Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. Reference: Sections C103.2 and C401.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
2. Provide NFRC fenestration product ratings for the U-factor and the SHGC values for the energy code compliance calculations (e.g. COMcheck ) or use the appropriate default U-factor and SHGC values from Tables C303.1.3 (1), C303.1.3 (2) and C303.1.3.(3), IECC 2012. Reference: Section C303.1.3, IECC 2012.
3. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment serving the building envelope. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012, and Section 312.1, IMC 2012.
4. Clarify how excess outside air relief from the building is to be accomplished (i.e. during economizer operation). Reference: Section C403.3.1.1.4, IECC 2012.
5. Provide notes on the drawings indicating what provisions have been made for commissioning the mechanical building systems per Section C408.2, IECC 2012.
6. Clarify the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans, EF-6, EF-7, and EF-8, to verify that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2012.
04/23/2015 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide roof drainage and hydraulic scupper size calculations based on a minimum rainfall rate of 3" per hour (the 100-year hourly rainfall rate for Tucson). Reference: Sections 1106.1, 1106.4, and 1108.3, IPC 2012.
2. Provide structural calculations to show that the proposed overflow scuppers are adequate to protect the roof from the rain load. Reference: Sections 1101, 1106 and 1108, IPC 2012, and Sections 1611.1 and 1611.3, IBC 2012.
3. Provide the dimensions of the overflow scupper for the fire pump house roof shown in detail 4/A3.1 (located above the double doors). Verify also that the crickets shown on the roof drawing will not cause ponding of water on the roof. (Note: the architectural notes 3009 and 3010 appear to be reversed.) Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
4. Include the requirement for the automatic faucets for the lavatories to dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
5. Provide tempered water for the lavatories and public hand-washing sinks in restrooms using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Verify that the use of a temperature mixing valve with a tankless water heater complies with the water heater manufacturer's listing requirements. Reference: Sections 303.2, 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2012.
6. Provide listing information for the proposed reduced pressure backflow preventer that shows that the pressure drop for the assembly is only 8 PSI. Reference: Section 604.1, IPC 2012.
7. The water distribution calculations indicate a design pressure of 80 PSI; since the calculations are based on the lowest available water pressure, the high pressure is likely in excess of 80 PSI. Provide a water pressure regulator conforming to ASSE 1003 or CSA B356 to limit the water pressure to 80 PSI or less. Reference: Section 604.8, IPC 2012.
8. Show how the water connections to each of the CRAC units are protected from backflow. Reference: Section 608.3, IPC 2012.
9. An approved 2-way cleanout fitting is a single fitting, not a field-assembled group of individual fittings as shown in detail 9/P0.2. Reference: Sections 708.3.5 and 708.5, IPC 2012.
