03/25/2014 | LAITH ALSHAMI | ENGINEERING | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Laith Alshami, Engineering and Floodplain Review, 04/16/2014, SUBJECT: Sierra Morado Unit 3 T13OT01437, Ref. DP13-0239, T15S, R15E, SECTION 12 RECEIVED: Floodplain Use Permit Application on March 18th, 2014 The subject project has been reviewed. The Floodplain Use Permit (FUP) can not be approved at this time. Address the following comments before review can resume: 1. It is not clear the purpose of the FUP application at this time. Although lots 129-131, 153, 157, 158, 162, 163 and 168 are located in areas that are impacted by the regulatory floodplain, one FUP application is not sufficient for all the different lots. Additionally, these areas (i.e. where the impacted lots are located) will be removed from the floodplain area once a fill is installed and a LOMRF is submitted and approved. The proposed fill, in the floodplain areas, will require a floodplain use permit. Resubmit the FUP application with the submittal of grading plan that includes the proposed fill. Once the fill is installed and the LOMRF is approved, the lots within the affected areas will not require separate floodplain use permits and elevation certificates. 2. Clarify, on the back of FUP application, the purpose of the FUP (i.e. fill within the regulatory floodplain). If you have any questions, I can be reached at 837-4933 or Laith.Alshami@tucsonaz.gov RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Revised FUP application |
