2. Specify the minimum resistance (R-value) of the duct insulation to be used on this project. Reference Section 803.2.8, IECC 2000.
3. Provide information to show that the manufacturer has listed the heat pump for use with the specified air handler. Reference Section 304.1, IMC 2000.
4. Coordinate the electrical requirements for the heat pumps and air handlers based on the manufacturer's listing requirements. Reference Section 304.1, IMC 2000.
5. Provide clearance space for maintenance and replacement of the new air handlers on the equipment platform. Reference Section 306.1 IMC.
6. Show the size, routing, and termination of the drain from the evaporative cooler. Reference Section 307.2, IMC 2000 and Section 807.2, UPC 1994.
7. Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains. Reference Section 307.2, IMC 2000 and Section 807.2, UPC 1994.
8. Provide auxiliary drain pans or secondary drain systems for the air handlers units. Reference Section 307.2.3 IMC.
9. Provide calculations demonstrating adequate ventilation. Reference Section 401, IMC 2000.

IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. Applicant shall go to Pima County Addressing to obtain addresses for all new/relocated meters. Take such addresses to DSD Permit Clerks for data entry into the City permitting system. Addresses for all new meters as shown on the plans shall correspond to those in City/County database.
2. It appears that the distance from the service to existing panels 111B and 115 is aprox. 115 LF. Even allowing 50 LF from the TEP transformer to the actual service entrance for the (4) paralleled 600 MCM, the AFC appears to exceed 10,000A. Also note that any existing panels which may be located in Suites 119, 121, 122, and 123 may be subject to higher levels of fault current than that of the original installation as the (2) 500 MCM overhead service is changed out for a (4) 600 MCM underground. In the past the City has allowed the use of current limiting OCPDs to attenuate fault current at existing panels to preclude the necessity of purchasing all new panels with a service upgrade; this would depend on the exact location of such panels, and what the possible extent of hazard and damage would be. Specification of a series-rated system would also be acceptable. Willing to discuss.
3. Mechanical equipment is specified at 230V on Sheet 3. Please verify that such equipment is also available for 208V, and coordinate with Mechanical for consistency on plans. See Mechanical Comment #4.
4. On Sheet E2, Power Plan, correct circuit designation "115-22" to read "115-20" and "115-24" to read "115-22."
5. Specify that the N-G bond be 250 MCM for the new 1200A disconnect enclosure. Reference NEC 250.24 (B), and NEC Table 8.
08/17/2005 DAN CASTRO ZONING REVIEW Denied 1. Revise the vehicle parking calculation provided to state the land use classification for each tenant as noted in the vehicle parking requirements LUC Sec. 3.3.4 (e.g. Administrative and Professional Office; Construction Service). For help defining a land use class refer to LUC 6.3.

2. Parking required shall be based on the principal use of the site and may not be based on separate floor area uses such as warehouse space for an office. The office use is the principal use and shall have parking based on the entire GFA. For additional clarification on this issue please contact me at the number provided.

3. The last approved site plan provided for reference includes three (3) loading zone spaces along the north perimeter. The TI site plan shows one (1) loading zone provided.

4. Vehicle parking row provided next to the loading zone is not shown on the last approved site plan. Provide parking angle, dimensions of the parking space and PAAL to assure compliance.
