TC-COM-0624-01110 Expired 06/10/2024 12/07/2024 UNIT 111 Commercial Building This proposal is for the deletion of and relocation of gas lines on the roof of the building in preparation for a roofing project. This proposal is based upon an onsite visit with Corey. After researching your generator we found out it is 90hp and 900,000 BTU of gas demand. Under current codes, this calls for a 2 1/2" gas line to properly feed the unit during peak demand. This will require larger threading equipment and a scissor lift to perform the job safely. This proposal includes labor and material for the following described work: * Provide drawings and permits from the City of Tucson. * Schedule turn on date with South West Gas. * Shut the gas off to the building. (Your backup generator will be off line for 3 to 5 days.) * Remove all of the existing 1 1/2 gas piping on the roof. * Remove all of the existing 2" gas line and all lateral lines connected to it. * Run new 2 1/2" gas line up from the meter to the top of the side of the building. * Using scissor lift, run new 2 1/2" gas line around the building on the top of the side of the building. * Offset in the initial corner and around two power boxes. * Cameras will need to be moved a few inches to incorporate the new line. * Drop the gas line at the generator unit. * Install new shut off valve, drip leg and unit connection. * Put the system on test and check for leaks and proper operations. * Inspect the new system. * Perform final connections at the generator unit. * Customer will have South West Gas make final connection at the meter and turn the gas back on. The generator unit will be the only gas appliance on the system so it will need to be operational for SWG to leave your gas on. I suggest a test run, prior to shutting the gas off to ensure success on final connection. * Clean up and haul away all debris. This proposal excludes, but is not limited to: * Any other work not specifically described above. * Sealing of the roof, from any removed piping, will be the responsibility of others. * We will provide an alternative proposal for a more cost effective method.
