ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS Sheet A7.02 1. The plans have conflicting gate locations within Stair 2. Detail 7 on this sheet indicates the gate to be located at the mid-height landing between L1 Parking and Level 1.5 but Detail 3 on this sheet and Sheet A2.02 indicate the gate at the Level 1 landing. Further, that gate being located on the level one landing poses a few issues, the first being the gate and the barrier appear to be swinging into each other and the gate is swinging opposite the direction of egress travel from the parking garage. If the gate were to swing the other side, it would obstruct egress to the exit passageway. Detail 4 on this sheet shows the gate at the mezzanine level. Please coordinate the location of the gate and revise accordingly. [Ref. 2018 IBC Sec. 1010.1.1.1 & 1010.1.2.1] STRUCTURAL COMMENTS There are no comments. MECHANICAL COMMENTS There are no comments.
