Plan review for the above referenced project has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. To facilitate a shorter back-check time, we request that you please, only provide plans and calculation pages that have been revised, clouding any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating the action taken.

The scope of this review covers the architectural and structural designs as they relate to the codes adopted by the jurisdiction. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

Separate Permits: Automatic fire sprinklers and fire alarm
Deferred Submittals: Metal Stairs, handrails, guards, reinforcing sizes and locations for post-tension slabs, and two-way communication system.
Special Inspections: Concrete, post-tension, epoxy and expansion anchors, structural steel, high-strength bolts, field welding, masonry, spray fire-resistant materials, intumescent materials, fire-resistant penetrations and joints (high-rises), EFIS, and outdoor lighting.

ARCHITECTURAL COMMENTS

General

1. The hoist way plans indicate “Preliminary-Not to be used for construction”. Please provide complete drawings for construction.
2. Please provide the proposed location of the hoist way crane. The approved plans dated 4/24/2024 indicate a crane location inside the building. The hoist shop drawings appear to indicate that it will be erected on the outside of the building. Please clarify.

3. The shop drawings indicate the embeds and parapet wall reinforcement is by others. Please provide and engineered design for these elements.
