<Name of Registrant>, the registered design professional in charge shall be responsible for reviewing and coordinating submittal documents prepared by others, including phased and deferred submittal items, for compatibility with the design of the building.

Submittal documents for deferred submittal items shall be submitted to the registered design professional in responsible charge, who shall review them and forward them to the Building Official with a notation indicating that the deferred submittal documents have been reviewed and that they have been found to be in general conformance with the design of the building. 1. New Comment: Please provide a detail for the addition of the sump pumps for the fire water drain lines in the revised plan-set. I do not understand how this is planned to be implemented as the plans do not indicate a sump pit for the pump or a floor drain. The model pump provided is 14” tall with the inlet approximately 12” off the ground. Please clarify.

2. New Comment: Keynote 14 indicates the use of an air admittance valve for the sump pump. Air admittance valves shall not be used to vent sumps unless the vent system is designed by an engineer. Provide a detail of the engineered design. [Ref. IPC 2018 Sec. 918.8]
