Revise the Electric Water Heater Detail, 3/P501, to show that the Holdrite platform is to be used instead of a field-fabricated platform. [Initial comment: Provide structural calculations for the mounting shelf for the water heater to show that the water heater will be safely supported from the building structure. Reference: Section 301.2, IPC 2024.] 2. Clarify that the ½” hot water branch off of the hot water circulating loop (i.e. the hot water source) is no longer than 24 inches. The plumbing plan (P201) does not clearly illustrate the path of the circulating hot water loop. (Note: add a check valve between the circulating pump and the downstream shut off valve to prevent cold water from entering the hot water loop when the pump is off.)
