2. Please revise plans to indicate the wall type between Offices #102 and the Break Room #103. IBC 107.2.1
3. Please revise the drawings to include the wall heights for each of the interior walls. IBC 107.2.1
4. Please amend the plans to provide a metal stud table or structural calculation to demonstrate the metal studs used for interior walls and partitions that exceed 6 feet in height, including their finish materials, shall have adequate strength and stiffness to resist the loads to which they are subjected but not less than a horizontal load of 5 psf. IBC 1607.15
5. Please revise the plans to provide complete wall assembly drawings to show the connection at the top and the bottom of each wall type to be used. IBC 107.2.1
6. Please provide structural design, calculations, and construction drawings prepared by a Arizona licensed design professional for BYBLOCK wall systems. The design shall include but not be limited to the following.
A. Please show complete details of the top and bottom connections for the epoxied threaded rod used with the BYBLOCK indicating the embedment depth size, spacing and epoxy type to be used.
B. Please show the material, size, required bearing, and anchoring for the headers over openings.
7. Please amend the plans to show that all through-penetrations, membrane penetrations and joints of fire-resistance-rated assemblies are protected with approved firestopping systems. Provide detail drawings on the plans identifying the specific UL-listed (or equivalent) firestopping systems for pipe, conduit, and duct penetrations through rated walls, floors, and ceilings (e.g., putty pads, firestop sealants, collars, or sleeves, as applicable). IBC Sections 714 & 715
8. Please revise the occupancy group of the breakroom to a B occupancy as there are less than 50 occupants. IBC 303.1.1 and the restrooms could be an F-1 or S-1.

07/14/2026 Commercial Mechanical Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Sections C403.1.1 and C403.3.1, IECC 2024.
2. Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2024 as amended by the City of Tucson.
3. Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fan so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted (i.e. all of the air supplied to each restroom is to be exhausted during the hours of operation even if the lights are off). Reference: Footnote g, Table 403.3.1.1, IMC 2024.
4. Provide calculations demonstrating adequate ventilation for the warehouse, industrial area, and other occupied spaces using the current code. Reference: Section 403.2, IMC 2024.
5. Show how adequate make-up air is to be provided to the building so that the building air pressure remains essentially neutral. Reference: Section 501.4, IMC 2024.
6. Identify the purpose of the exhaust hood and all of the contaminants that will be exhausted. Reference: Section 502, IMC 2024.

07/14/2026 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide structural calculations for the mounting shelf for the water heater to show that the water heater will be safely supported from the building structure. Reference: Section 301.2, IPC 2024.
2. Provide metering faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the faucet cycle will last for at least 10 seconds. Reference: Section 604.4, IPC 2024 and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
3. Verify that the distance from the hot water source to the hot water termination for the public lavatories complies with the requirements of Section C404.5.1, IECC 2024.
