1. Show lines of bridging for the steel joists per joist manufacturer’s recommendations.
2. The requirements in OSHA 1926.757 for the erection of open web steel joists are to be followed. Where steel joists are used with columns that are not framed in at least two directions with solid web structural steel members, a steel joist shall be field-bolted at the column to provide lateral stability to the column during erection. Where constructability does not allow a steel joist to be installed at the column the joists are to be stabilized on both sides of the column.
3. Except for steel joists that have been pre-assembled into panels, connections of individual steel joists to steel structures in bays 40 feet or more shall be fabricated to allow for field bolting during erection.
4. Provide a vertical stabilizer plate at columns for steel joist as required by OSHA 1926.757.
5. Verify OSHA steel erection standards for open web steel joists. Section 1926.757 (a)(8) requires connections of individual steel joists to steel structures in bays of 40 feet or more shall be fabricated to allow for field bolting during erection.

Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings.

1. Revise the plans or provide a narrative that better defines the use of the space in the "warehouse" area. It appears that part of this area might fall under an "industrial" use, and would change the occupant load factor. 2018 IBC - Table 1004.5
2. The plans indicate a second story (equipment mezzanine) with an area which exceeds 3000 sqft. and is not provided with an accessible route. Revise the plans to show an accessible route to this area. 2018 IBC - 1104.4(1).
3. The plans do not appear to have a permanent ladder to access the roof. Revise the plans to show the location of a permanent roof access and provide the construction details of the access ladder or stairs. 2018 IBC - 1011.16, 2018 IMC - 306.5.
4. The plans are missing most measurements for accessible components in the bathrooms. Revise the plans to include all mounting heights and required floor spaces. 2009 ANSI A117.1.
5. The plans do not indicate a vertical grab bar has been provided. Revise the plans to include the required grab bar. 2009 ANSI A117.1 - 609.4.

Electrical Review for Project Pueblo
By: Ron Ross PE
E0.3 ELECTRICAL SCHEDULES: Should provide description for LBC-1 thru 4.
E3.0 ELECTRICAL ONE LINE DIAGRAM: Tucson requires short circuit calculations to every new panel starting from the Utility provided transformer (local power company provides short circuit available fault current on secondary side of transformer). EOR may need to estimate transformer size to be provided by Utility and then use Utility table provided on Utility’s website for estimated short circuit current)
E4.0 PANEL SCHEDULES:
Need to show Panels H-FP and LV-FP or explain why they are not shown. It is understood that Guard shack cannot be shown.
Suggestion for future submittals: Should change VA columns in panel schedules to KVA as VA is a small unit that results in trailing numbers to be cut off. Cannot determine actual values used as trailing numbers may be ONE or TWO or more numbers ie cannot directly determine magnitude of values.
E4.1 PANEL SCHEDULES: Comment only: NZ units call out for an MOP of 50 Amps, but you provide 60-amp circuit breakers for NZ-1, NZ-2, and NZ-4.
