S1.4 - SLAB REINFORCEMENT: Please confirm the typical slab reinforcement for slabs labeled "PC-12-0". Plan Note #16 on S1.4 specifies #4 bars at 12" o.c each way in all conventional slabs on grade. This reinforcement does not meet the minimum area of reinforcement required to resist shrinkage and temperature per ACI 318-14, Table 24.4.3.2. 2. S3.4 & S3.6 - REVISED GEOMETRY: Revisions to the foundation geometry on Sheet S1.2 have not been reflected on the Treatment Cell Sections 2/S3.4 and 1/S3.6. Please revise these sections to reflect the most recent plan changes. 3. S4.1 - FOUNDATION DETAILS: Revisions to Section 6/S4.1 introduced a new continuous steel angle at the anticipated removable floor. Please provide a size for the angle and specify how it is being supported (ie. welds or fasteners). New Detail 14/S4.1 calls out (4) #5 bars to be distributed over the length of the thickened slab below the MSB equipment. According to Sheet S1.9, these areas range from 25'-5" to 53'-4" in the long direction. In these cases, the specified reinforcement will not meet the minimum area of steel described in Note 1 above. Please provide the minimum ratio of steel required for temperature and shrinkage in the thickened slabs. 4. S1.2 & S4.3 - FOUNDATION DETAIL: Plan S1.2 and modified Detail 4/S4.3 show a concrete bump out over piers in the treatment cell foundation. Please provide dimensions for these foundation elements, either on plan or in the detail. If additional vertical reinforcement is required in these bump out elements as shown in Detail 4/S4.3, please callout a minimum size and quantity.
