Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Provide a complete building plan set for the new carport structure for supporting the PV modules, IBC 107.1. Show the total height of the structure and PV modules. 2. Show compliance with NEC 230.24 for Over Head Service conductors over the new structure. 3. Provide a Grounding Electrode System at the detached structure per NEC 690.47. 4. Provide complete grounding details for the PV modules, mounting equipment and carport structure, NEC 690.41-50. 5. Show new construction, within the fire-separation zone, built with fire rated materials. Structures within the fire-separation zone shall comply with IBC Chapter 7.
