After our PRE-APPLICATION MEETING on 5/13/2026 and staff review of the materials submitted in the sub-record, additional items and information are needed before we can deem your application complete. Please provide the following items/information: APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Historic Review requires a supplemental application called a Design Package. Please see the Historic & Special Districts Application Instructions for more information about submittal requirements: 9https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/1/pdsd/documents/special_districts_application_instructions_3.3.2025.pdf. As part of your Design Package, please include the following (1) Project description; (2) site plan (already included); (3)Elevations of all the 4 sides of the garage to be demolished;(4) detailed colored photo of all sides of the garage (already included)and (5) All the above materials required as part of your Design Package should be combined and uploaded to your Special District Sub-Record as a single PDF. The multiple documents-site plan and photos should be added to items 1, 3 to form a single design package. Please submit it under SD-0526-00072 REVIEW PROCESS: Once the Design Package is deemed complete , fees will be invoiced and need to be paid. The application will be a Full review. Once the fees are paid, staff will schedule a Full Review with representatives of the West University Historic Zone Advisory Board (WUHZAB) and the Tucson-Pima County Historical Commission, Plans Review Subcommittee (PRS).These reviews are virtual and you will send a zoom link for the review. Following board and commission review, comments will be forwarded to the PDSD Director, who makes the final decision. Conditions of approval are common and revisions to the Design Package will be required before final approval. Staff will generate a Notice of Decision and stamp the final approved Design Package.
