| 08/01/2024 | PDSD Site/Engineering Division - Landscaping | N/A | Not Ready | I met with a contractor on the site to take a look and see what is happening at this time. The trash enclosure footers have been poured, and the bollards have been set in place place. the contractor will be working on constructing the walls for the trash enclosure. I have advised the contractor that when they are constructing the walls, they have to stop at 4 foot and grout all cells prior to going any higher above the 4 foot level. He will take pictures of the wall once they have it to 4 foot will have the grout placed and will take pictures of the grout prior to installing the additional 2 foot on top of the lower wall. Once he is done with the upper wall, then they will grout that and ensuring that a bond beam is at the top of the wall and will provide photos of the completed work. There have been questions asked about the permits for the houses that are requiring a special inspection for grade. I have advised him to contact Joshua Garcia or Stephen blood to make a determination if a special inspection is required. for any of the work as noted on the Approved plans. I also have advised him to talk to Joshua Garcia about what Permits will be required for the the retaining walls and screen walls shown on his building plans. |
