04/22/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed Sidewalk area was re-tested for compaction and did not pass. Subgrade is low in moisture and compaction from the light at Alvernon and Los Reales up to driveway B.
04/23/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed A one-point proctor was taken at the site of sidewalk to be placed and resulted in a 127 optimum density and 9% optimum moisture. With this proctor, the sidewalk subgrade at 6” nuclear test did not pass again. Contractor was going to reprocess the area, use a sheep’s foot and added moisture to test the following day.
04/24/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed Multiple density tests were taken over three days to reach an acceptable density (94%). Much compaction effort was placed to do so due to the type of soil in the area.
04/25/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed 20 yards of approved concrete was poured between stations 10+00 and 12+00.

05/01/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed Sidewalk was poured between stations 19+00 and 22+50. 30 yards were poured.
05/06/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed Sidewalk inspection for two sections, between stations 15+ & 18+50 as well as stations 19+10 & 22+50. Slopes are within plan specifications of 1.5%.

07/09/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed Forms are set and trenching is being done for a "turndown" sidewalk with trenches at minimum 15". This is a redline the engineer put in place due to a low spot or possible "flood plain" area.
07/10/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed CalPortland delivered 50 yds of concrete to pour ADA ramp and sidewalk between driveways D and E. Sample test cylinders were taken.
07/14/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed ADA ramp on the W side of driveway E conforms to ADA specifications as well as PAG standards and specifications. Slopes are within <2%. Truncated domes are installed and are in solid with no hollow spots.
08/20/2025 TRSP - PIA - Sidewalk Placement Passed Measured for slope percentages, and landings as well as transition pieces and sidewalk cross slopes were within the specifications. Truncated domes were also void of any hollow spots.
