07/03/2013 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-11(b) (2) COOLING. Every dwelling unit, guest room, and congregate residence shall be provided, in at least one habitable room, with either mechanical cooling or an alternate cooling method. Cooling facilities shall be installed and maintained in a safe condition and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, and shall be capable of providing adequate cooling, appropriate for the climate, to assure a safe living environment. Evaporative cooling shall be maintained to be free of excessive rust, corrosion or mineral deposits that limit proper operation. Any mounting apparatus for a cooling facility must be structurally sound. Mechanical fans or portable evaporative cooling devices may only be used on a temporary basis as the sole source of cooling when the permanent cooling system is being repaired or replaced.

07/01/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT MLOPEZ Approved Spoke to tenant in unit B102 he said AC was down, after inspecting found that Ac wasn't blowing as cold but was blowing. Advised tenant that I would address problem with manager, I spoke to manager and Tec. from Tyron AC and Heating repair, He said chiller is working but it's not blowing to cold is working on the problem, he advised it will take a few days to repair but is working on it. Advised manager I will be issuing notice to have chiller repaired so that it's working properly. 5 days to comply
07/10/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE RVIDAL Approved Was called back to check the temprature of the air out of the vents and check unit B-102 and the air out of the vents at 72 degrees and the return at 75 degrees. At this time the case will be closed. The was also inspected with Colleen Bigman and Martin Lopez and the management. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
