A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25mm)high on a contrasting background.: -Main front doors. 2. 1008.1.8.4 Bolt locks. Manually operated flush bolts or surface bolts are not permitted. - Remove the slide bolts on the active leaf of the exit doors. 3. Section 1014.2 Exit or exit access doorway arrangement. Required exits shall be located in a manner that makes their availability obvious. Exits shall be unobstructed at all times.
