NO HOT WATER, FRONT DOOR IS UNEVEN, HOLES ON THE CEILING DUE TO REPAIR OF LEAKING WATER FROM SECOND FLOOR. THEY DRILLED HOLES ON THE CEILING AND THEY NEVER CAME BACK TO REPAIR THEM. LIGHT FIXTURE ON THE HALLWAY IS BEARLY HANGING ON, THEY USE CORDS TO TO HOLD IT, LEAKING SINK ON THE KITCHEN, HEATERS ARE NOT WORKING, TUB IS LEAKING & PEELING. I CALLED ANGIE-MGR OF APTMS TO LET HER KNOW OF THIS COMPLAINT AND SHE ADVISED TO GO AHEAD AND FILE THE COMPLAINT. ANGIE STATED SHE WANTS THE LIST OF VIOLATIONS ON THE APTM, SHE HAS SENT MAINTENANCE PEOPLE BUT THEY CAN'T GET IN THE PLACE BECAUSE IS FILTY .

05/24/2006 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GGOODMAN Approved VISITED MANAGER'S OFFICE, MET WITH ANGELA WOOD, MANAGER, WHO MENTIONED SHE WAS AWARE THAT THE TENANT HAD CALLED IN A COMPLAINT, MENTIONED THAT SHE HAS SEEN THE TENANT'S APARTMENT, MENTIONED APARTMENT WAS A MESS AND BECAUSE OF THE MESS MENTIONED THAT THE PEST CONTROL COMPANY TOLD ANGELA THAT IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME TO TRY AND TREAT THE UNIT BECAUSE OF THE CONDITION IT WAS IN, THAT THE TENANT NEEDED TO 1ST CLEAN THE UNIT. ANGELA ALSO MENTIONED THAT TENANT DID BRING A DEAD MOUSE INTO THE OFFICE IN A PLASTIC BAG ALSO COMPLAINING ABOUT MICE. I EXPLAINED TO ANGELA THAT I WOULD BE BACK INTO THE OFFICE ONCE I INSPECTED THE UNIT, THAT SHE COULD COPY THE ISSUES THAT I FOUND AND MAINTENANCE COULD BEGIN ABATING ISSUES IF THEY WISH. MENTIONED A NOV WOULD BE ISSUED SOMETIME AFTER THE INSPECTION. MY FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS: INTERIOR FEATURES: 1) FRONT DOOR LACKS PROPER WEATHER STRIPPING / LACKS RUBBER TO THRESHOLD 2) ROACH INFESTATION 3) HALL CLOSET DOOR DOES NOT LATCH 4) KITCHEN CEILING EAST WALL LEAKING FROM ABOVE UNIT 5) HALL CEILING LEAKS FROM ABOVE UNIT, POKED HOLES IN CEILING TO RELIEVE THE WATER 6) PATCHES IN BATHROOM NOT COMPLETED LACK TEXTURE & PAINT 7) N/W BEDROOM WINDOW LACKS LOCKING MECHANISM 8) INSECT INFESTATION N/W BEDROOM CEILING 9) PATCHES IN N/W BDRM CLOSET NEED TO BE COMPLETED 10) BATHROOM DOOR NOT CLOSING PROPERLY 11) KITCHEN CABINET DOORS NEED ADJUSTING PLUMBING: 1) TOILET RUNS CONSTANTLY 2) TUB LEAKS CONSTANTLY 3) CAULK ALL ADGES OF TUB & TILE, CAULKING CRACKING 4) HOT WATER HEATER LACKS DRM PAN ELECTRIC: 1) HALL LIGHT LACKS A GLOBE 2) RECEP EAST WALL N/W BEFROOM REPLACED WITH 2-PRONG RECEP. WEST WALL S/W BEDROOM ALSO 3) BASEBOARD HEATER IN L/R & S/W BEDROOM NOT WORKING 4) FRONT DOOR LIGHT HAS BROKEN BULB / MISSING GLOBE INTERIOR SANITATION: KITCHEN HAS CAT LITTER BOX IN CORNER OF KITHEN, LITTER BOX OVERFLOWING, CAT FECES IN PILES ON THE FLOOR. APPEARS AS THOUGH UNIT DOES NOT GET CLEANED ON A REGULAR BASIS, CLOTHES ON THE FLOOR IN STACKS. KITCHEN ALSO HAS FOOD LEFT ON COUNTER TOPS AND STOVE (OPEN FOOD). FIRE SAFETY: 1) NO WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS IN UNIT
