PG 2/2...At the southwest portion of home, the driveway may have been lowered, as the electrical panel is out of reach due to being too high. There is no face plate on the box and all wires and breakers are exposed. There is numerous Romax lines ran and exposed in this area. There is a façade of two by fours and unfinished stucco in this area that is attached to the original exterior walls. There is an electric Romax line ran from the breaker box, across the front porch and over the front gate with exposed wire sticking out to the sidewalk. On the inside, the dining area attached to the kitchen has an extension. Cord ran as permanent wiring to power. A quantum fiber box mounted to the wall. There are missing outlet covers in this room. There are electrical wires coming out of a junction box hanging out of the ceiling with wire nuts on them. The outlet behind the stove is pulled out of the wall. There’s a missing outlet cover in the kitchen. Water is draining out of the ceiling due to firefighting from the exterior. There is a mini split installed in this area. There are missing outlet covers on four light switches by side door at North East side of home. There’s a missing junction box cover at the north east and north west part of home. There’s exposed wires in the northwest portion of the home. TEP was called and could not access the meter so power was cut at the pole. A licensed electrician shall review the electrical system and correct all eminent hazards prior to restoring electrical. An inspection shall be required prior to reconnect. A residential addition, alteration permit shall be applied for separate of the reconnect, permit to address all remaining work without permits, including the electrical. Unit was posted unsafe to occupy. Electric shall be reconnected as described above and ENERGOV CHARACTER LIMIT
09/27/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation ALL NOTES ARE PRELIMINARY AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON FOR ACCURACY. FINAL NOTES WILL BE POSTED DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS... PG 1/2...There was a fire in the wall in the east central part of the home where a gas line with a propane tank connector enters the structure through the wall. On the other side of this wall on the interior of the home is a stove which appears to be connected to the gas line. There are propane tanks outside in this area. Appears homeowner was using this to power the stove. Entire home has hazardous electrical and work to include additions done with no permits. The front porch has new electrical Romax and junction boxes, and exposed wires. The front door appears to be changed as there is new stucco around the frame. The front door opens into a foyer type room that has steps down into a sunken style room. There is a mini split installed in this room. Electric switches are missing covers in this area. The east side of the home appears to have an addition within 4 feet of the east side CMU wall. There is exposed electric wires, coming out of the eaves of this addition in the area of the fire damage. There is A stucco enclosure attached to the structure with an electric outlet box with multiple breakers. There is wiring from this panel box to an outlet attached to wall and a second run to the roof on the east side. North of this, there is an outlet coming loose from the wall under the window. There is a metal conduit run across the sidewalk with Romax coming out of the conduit going into the gravel in the east side yard. The sheathing is deteriorated and the conductors are exposed. There is what appears to be an add-on at the far north side of the structure. The work does not appear to be finished as there is exposed Styrofoam and unfinished stucco work. At the northwest corner of the home, the west wall is within approximately 2 feet from the wall. There is exposed Styrofoam, stucco mesh, and unfinished roof eaves. CONTINUED...
