Call came in from TFD investigator regarding fire for debrief. Fire did not affect structure. Trespassers were burning wires in a storage closet. However, property was no longer secured. Was unable to make contact with owner at this time. Property resecured by city contractors. NOV posted along with "Do Not Enter" signs on the west facing gate on the southside of property. Property has an excessive accumulation of trash and debris throughout the property. All utilities remain disconnected. | |
| 07/02/2026 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | In Violation | On call Inspector issued a notice of violation on 5/2/26 for electrical panel. Owner was given 60 days to apply for the permit for damaged electrical and to remove refuse off the property lot. 7/2/26 Followed up on this notice that was also mailed out to the owner by the On-call Inspector. Property is still in violation for refuse on the lot and no permit has been applied for at this time. #0012693 This property has been a serious problem for the Tucson Police, local businesses and the people who live in the area. Owner has failed to remove refuse and to maintain the vacant lot. Code Enforcement will be issuing the current owner a notice to demolish the property structure. |
