01/04/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Unit 306 is a one bedroom, one bathroom that had sewer water coming from the above unit through the exhaust fan from unit 306 bathroom. Power was secured at the interior electrical panel. The sewer water saturated the bedroom carpet making the unit unsanitary and unfit for occupancy. Unit 306 was posted, notice and order was issued. Management had a maintenance crew remove the toilet from upstairs to clear the obstruction.
01/05/2024 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up In Violation Maintenance removed the saturated carpet from unit 306 and had blowers over night to dry the bathroom ceiling’s studs. The bathroom’s exhaust fan was replaced, and the unit’s drywall was being replaced around the exhaust fan. The wall between the bathroom and bedroom was pending to be dry, management stated the unit has been sanitized, no evidence of foul order at this time.
