01/05/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Observed an electrical cord plugged into the electrical outlet located across the court yard of unit E253. Confirmed with the owner and with TEP that the electricity is disconnected. I unplugged the extension cord from the court yard power source. I posted a Notice to Vacate form, Do Not Enter unsafe to occupy sign and my business card on the front door of unit E253 and I took picture of the postings. The owner and his security guard have documentation of the posting.
01/08/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed Was on site for another case and found the extension cord connected the exterior lighting. Called T.P.D. to have the unit check and found 1-female and 1-male in the unit in both rooms. The posting of Do Not Enter has been removed. The owner of the unit lives out of state and advised the owner that once the occupant's removed that the unit will be secured with board up. The person who has the lease was not on site and has not been seen for some time. The male is the son of the owner. Found light duty extension cords daisy chained through out the unit to all the rooms and appliances in the unit. The extension cord was removed from the exterior light. The light fixture is being removed at this time. Will be re-doing the posting of Do Not Enter and N.O.V. to Vacate on the front door once boarded up. Hamed was on site for the H.O.A. and security. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured on all the openings. RV.
