03/23/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial Passed Went to the site and found the lighting that has been added midway of a 4-story building. The lights are aimed down and have no shields and has trespassing to the neighbors houses across the street. The lights are for a parking lot. I did walk on the neighbors side of the property and did have a shadow on the wall of the houses across the street. RV.
03/28/2023 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up Passed Met with the manager of the complex and went over the light trespassing to the neighboring properties. Showed her at night that the shadow shows on the neighbors house when walking by on the opposite side of the street on the neighbors side where you walk by the house. She stated that the lights were lowered and what she did was have the fixture aimed more down but in the same position in height. The manager is not understanding that the lights are lacking shields to prevent the light beam from going further out past the fixture where mounted to the wall. Did go over that a permit is required due to the change of type of lighting being used at this time. The manager did mention on going back to the old fixture and she could and will check after that is done to check for the trespassing of the lighting. Gave her my card and she will call when done. RV.
