STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS:

1. Mechanical Drawing M6.1 shows Roof Top Units Schedule with RTU-1 and RTU-2, each weighing 750 pounds. No structural Calculations are provided justifying the existing roof structural members are adequate to support these RTU’s. Submit Structural Calculations justifying the adequacy of the Roof Joists/Roof Girders to transfer the loadings to the Structural Columns.
2. Provide details if any reinforcing of Steel Joists is needed for the off panel point loadings on the Steel Joists.
3. All Calculations shall be sealed and signed by Professional Engineer registered with State of Arizona per Section 107.1 of International Building Code 2018.
Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings.


BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS:

1. Provide the area of the tenant space. Estimations are not permitted.
2. Provide accurate occupant load calculation and plumbing fixture calculations. On the cover page it states that an F-1 occupancy is being used and another page states a S-1 occupancy is being used. It's understood that these are spec suites with no contracted tenants. However, it's consistency is important. Include the warehouse/storage space into the occupant load calculations.
3. Exiting through F-1/S-1 space would not be permitted as it is a potential higher hazard depending on tenant processes. This exit signage may need to be removed.
