Verify the design lateral pressure from the surcharge loads are included in the lateral earth pressure load and design of the foundation wall as indicated in IBC 2018 Section 1610.1 2. The requirements in OSHA 1926.757 for the erection of open web steel joists are to be followed. Where steel joists are used with columns that are not framed in at least two directions with solid web structural steel members, a steel joist shall be field-bolted at the column to provide lateral stability to the column during erection. Where constructability does not allow a steel joist to be installed at the column the joists are to be stabilized on both sides of the column. 3. Except for steel joists that have been pre-assembled into panels, connections of individual steel joists to steel structures in bays 40 feet or more shall be fabricated to allow for field bolting during erection. 4. Provide a vertical stabilizer plate at columns for steel joist as required by OSHA 1926.757. 5. Verify OSHA steel erection standards for open web steel joists. Section 1926.757 (a)(8) requires connections of individual steel joists to steel structures in bays of 40 feet or more shall be fabricated to allow for field bolting during erection. 6. Bracing is shown along line 10 in the North South Direction. Verify lateral loading is resisted by the end walls in NS and EW directions and transferred to the foundations safely. 7. Show lines of bridging for the steel joists per the recommendation of the Joist Manufacturer. Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Sheet A0.0: Remove the references to the Idaho State Plumbing Code. 2. Sheet A0.0: ESFR is not a sprinkler system type. It is a sprinkler head type. Provide the sprinkler system type being used. (NFPA 13) 3. Sheet A0.0: Why are frontage increases being applied if the building qualifies for unlimited area? Provide clarification and complete frontage increase calculations. MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1.Provide ventilation calculations (IMC2018,,403.3.1.1.1) to show how you are going to meet the 4% openable area to the outdoors for natural ventilation 2. Provide a detailed narrative on the process that occurs in the warehouse (e.g. what materials are you storing in the warehouse, what type of forklifts are you using in the warehouse is it fuel or electric) (imc2018,106.3.1) ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Denied There is no current electrical design to review or approve. Electrical is Design Build and is called out as a Deferred submittal. Submit when required by local AHJ Electrical is not approved until deferred design is submitted.
