STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied The structural calculations submitted refers IBC 2012 and no response letter submitted addressing following items. Resubmit along with response letter addressing each item and calculations based on IBC2018. Provide Structural Calculations for the proposed Foundations, Columns and other Framings per Section 1601.1 of International Building Code 2018. 1. Provide Wind Load Calculations for the proposed construction per Section 1609 of International Building Code 2018. 2. Provide Seismic Calculations for the construction per Section 1613 of International Building Code 2018. 3. Verify foundation design meets the requirements of IBC 2018 Section 1808.7 for foundations adjacent to slopes. 4. Verify the design lateral pressure from the surcharge loads are included in the lateral earth pressure load and design of the foundation wall as indicated in IBC 2018 Section 1610.1 5. All Calculations shall be sealed and signed by Professional Engineer registered with State of Arizona per Section 107.1 of International Building Code 2018. 6. Provide Geotechnical Report for the proposed building per International Building Code 2018, Section 1803.1. 7. DEFERRED SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS Structural general notes are to include any components of the building that may be considered deferred submittals. IBC Section 107.3.4.1 requires deferred submittals to be approved by the building official. If items will be deferred the plans are to clearly note the following per IBC Section 107.3.4.1: * To be reviewed by design professional in responsible charge. * Design professional shall affix a notation that the deferred items are in general conformance with their design of the building. * They shall be submitted for review by the building official. * Shall not be installed until approved by building official. Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. It appears that none of the discussed changes were made to Sheet AX0.1. Provide an updated sheet for approval.
