STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved MECHANICAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Approved ELECTRICAL REVIEW COMMENTS Conditionally Approved 1. Smoke detectors shall be installed in the existing house. Smoke detectors shall be installed in each sleeping room, outside of each sleeping room in the immediate vicinity of the bedroom. This will be verified at time of inspection. 2018 IRC R314.2. All smoke detectors shall receive their primary power from the building wiring with a battery backup and shall be interconnected so that the actuation of one alarm will activate all. 2. Carbon monoxide detectors are required to be installed in the existing house. Carbon monoxide detectors shall be installed outside of each sleeping area in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms. This will be verified at time of inspection. 2018 IRC R315.3. Carbon monoxide devices shall receive their primary power from the building wiring with a battery backup and shall be interconnected so that the actuation of one alarm will activate all. 2018 IRC R314.4. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms may be combined. PLUMBING REVIEW COMMENTS: Conditionally Approved No plumbing work was included as part of this submittal, existing plumbing to remain.
