1. Provide a thorough egress plan for the new space that indicates travel distances, exit separations and all other applicable requirements of Chapter 10.
2. The occupant load does not include the other area present on the floor area. There is a waiting room, which is an assembly area. Additionally there is a storage area that has not been included.
3. Provide clarification on the storage area in regards to what is being stored. Additionally, the area is greater than 10% of the overall sq. ft. and qualifies as a mixed use building. Provide clarification on which code compliant approach is being takes and correlate all applicable requirements in accordance with Section 508.
4. The doors of the storage closet encroach into the means of egress more than the maximum permitted allowance in accordance with Section 1005.7.1. Provide a correct door swing or door type.
5. Additional directional exit lighting is required in hallways and throughout the space in accordance with Section 1013.
6. Provide on the RCP the lighting used for means of egress illumination that meet the applicable requirements of Section 1008.
7. The guardrails provided on the roof are the incorrect height. The guardrails are required to be not less than 42" high measured from the adjacent walking surface. Provide the corrected guardrails in accordance with Section 1015.3.
8. The guardrails provided on the roof permit a sphere greater than 21" to pass through them. Provided corrected guardrails in accordance with Section 1015.6.
9. Some of the elevation drawings are missing. Provide all elevations.
10. Provide an architectural floor site plan that indicates the fire separation distances.
11. Provide an enlarged ADA restroom plan that meets all of the applicable requirements for accessible access, floor spaces and dimensions. Provide all applicable accessible details.
12. Provide raised character and braille exit signs in accordance with Section 1013.4.
13. Provide a wall schedule that includes all typical wall types.
