1. Designer is to coordinate venting and drainage hole requirements for HSS tube members that are galvanized using
the hot-dip galvanizing process. Provide for plugs as needed. AWS D-19.0 calls for welds on galvanized steel to be
free of zinc. Field welds on galvanized parts requires the removal of the zinc coating in the area of weld. Provide zinc
paint (approved by the galvanizer) and apply as required to the weld and steel area to provide protection.
2. Columns C2 supporting the Canopy are not called out on Plan, identify those columns on Plan.
3. The Top/Bottom of Foundations are not called out on Floor Plans, make revisions as necessary.
4. Typical Steel Column Base Plate details for W Sections are not shown anywhere on the Structural Drawings. Make
revisions to the Drawings as necessary.

This site is located in the C-1 zone (UDC 4.7.20). Food Service is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-4). See Use Specific Standards 4.9.4.M.1 & 5 and 4.9.13.O.

1. Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with DP21-0147 and although it appears that the building matches what is shown on the DP, until DP21-0147 is approved Zoning cannot approve the building plan.
