Builidngs that are 6,000 sq feet and V-B construction shall have a fire flow of 2,000 gpm for 2 hours. Buildings that are 4,000 sq feet and V-B cxonstruction shall have a fire flow of 1,750 for 2 hours. The building that is 1,200 square feet needs to meet the hydrant requirements or be sprinklered. The other buildings shall meet both requirements. You may contact Fred Coy Fred.Coy@Tucsonaz.gov from Tucson Water to perform the fire sprinkler waterflow annalysis for each building. We will need a letter from Fred stating you meet the requirements or a modification on your plans that you are adding fire sprinkler systems to the building. If either of these requirements are not met, two exits will be required (separated per the IBC Section 1007.1.1. 3.
