| 02/03/2020 | MARTIN BROWN | FIRE | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Multiple sheets contain the notation "Preliminary, not for construction". These sheets must be removed and replaced. Confirm sprinkler piping feeding fire pump is run overhead. Unclear from drawings. Per section 4.13.2.1.1.1 of the 2016 edition of NFPA 20, the passageway from the outside to the pump room must be 1 hour rated. This includes ceilings, rated self closing doors, etc. Verify and clearly indicate on plans. Indicate where on roofs the 2 1/2" hose valves will be. Review NFPA 14 for guidance. Please address these issues in a response letter. |

| 02/07/2020 | ERIC NEWCOMB | BUILDING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | T20CM00312 1. Sheet G002; Building Heights: A note indicates a horizontal assembly is provided at Level 2 per 510.2. Please add to that note that this condition is typical for all portions of the North building. 2. Sheet G003; Code Diagram 1 (Garage): A plan note indicates '22,991 NSF open parking S-2', followed by '23,632 NSF covered'. This would indicate more covered parking than there is actual parking. Please clarify. 3. Sheet G003; Floor Plans: Please indicate the means of egress and the exit access travel distances on the plans per the IBC Section 107.2.3, and verify the maximum distance indicated on Sheet G002 (195') is the worst case. 4. Sheet G401; Enlarged Pool Area: Is the pool, and all pool related structures, part of a separate permit? It was not included in the OK to Submit for the North Building, the South Building, or the Parking Structure. 5. Sheet G402; North Courtyard Site Plan: Is the north courtyard ramada (2/G402) part of a separate permit? It was not included in the OK to Submit for the North Building. 6. Sheet G403; East Walkway Ramada: Is the ramada (2/G402) part of a separate permit? It was not included in the OK to Submit for the North or South Buildings. 7. Sheets S4, S5, and S6: Which ramada do these drawings reference? Please indicate a reference on these drawings. 8. Sheet A-S303.1; Framing Plan: Framing Plan: The Plan Title indicates 4th Floor Framing. Is this the Roof Framing Plan? Please verify. 9. Sheet A-S304.2; Framing Plan: The Plan Title indicates 5th Floor Framing. Is this the Roof Framing Plan? Please verify. 11. Sheet A-A100.0; Parking Floor Plan: The Sheet Title indicates Level 0, while the Floor Plan Title indicates Level 1-P. Please verify. 12. Sheets A-A101.2, A-A102.2, etc.: Several sheets are not sealed, signed, and dated by the registered design professional per the IBC Section 107.1. Please provide. 13. Sheet A-A501; Wall Type B4: The one hour fire resistance rating provides a U.L. Listing Number, but the Wall Title indicates a two hour wall. Please verify. 18. General: Please provide dimensioned details for grab bars in restrooms/showers/tubs per the ICC/ANSI Chapter 6. 19. General: Please provide U.L. Listing Numbers for all rated slabs as required. 20. | 02/19/2020 | ROBERT SHERRY | PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Clarify the design of the waste and vent piping as shown on sheets A-P102.1 and A-P103.1. Sheet A-P103.1 clearly shows the waste piping for the 3rd level lavatories, showers and kitchen sinks dropping down to the 2nd level (sheet A-P102.1) where it is then being collected with the 2nd level horizontal waste piping for the lavatories, showers and kitchen sinks and then to four, 4" drops down to the level 0 in the garage (sheet A-P100.1). The waste from the water closets doesn't appear to be connected to anything and the referenced riser diagrams on sheet A-P006 seem to be unrelated to the drawings on A-P102.1 and A-P103.1. 2. Plumbing general note #6 calls for all sewer piping to run at 1/8" per 12" slope unless noted otherwise. Horizontal sewer pipes less than 3" require a minimum slope of ΒΌ" per 12". |
