05/10/2019 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Comment not addressed. [Initial comment: Provide an auxiliary or secondary condensate drain system for the fan coils. Reference: Section 307.2.3, IMC 2018]
2. Keynote 3 on sheet M1.1 calls for connecting a new 8" duct to an existing exhaust duct for the restrooms. I can't find keynote 3 (or keynote 2 for that matter) on sheet M1.1. If you are modifying the ductwork, will the fan have to be rebalanced? [Initial comment: See Table 403.3.1.1 for the minimum exhaust flow rates needed for restrooms (i.e. the flow rate is determined by both the number of water closets and urinals in each room as well as continuous operation versus intermittent operation of the fan). Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4) and 403.2.2, IMC 2018.]
3. The calculations only show the sensible cooling loads and the schedule only shows the total cooling capacity of the units. Please add a bit more information. [Initial comment: Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified rooftop units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C502.2.3, IECC 2018.
05/10/2019 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Sheet A1.1 still shows the relocation of WH-1. [Initial comment: The replacement and relocation of the water heater appears to have resulted in domestic hot water supply piping with a developed length in excess of fifty-feet. Provide a method for maintaining the temperature of the hot water supply system. Reference: Section 607.2, IPC 2018.]
