04/23/2019 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change The replacement and relocation of the water heater appears to have resulted in domestic hot water supply piping with a developed length in excess of fifty-feet. Provide a method for maintaining the temperature of the hot water supply system. Reference: Section 607.2, IPC 2018.
04/23/2019 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Where is SF-W1 located on the roof? Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
2. How does the 12" OSA duct connect to SF-E1? Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
3. Clarify the termination point for the condensate drains for the fan coils on the east side of the first level. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. Show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains for IDU-E03A and IDU-E03B. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson.
5. Since all of the piping has been removed from the roof, show the size, routing, and termination of the condensate drains for the rooftop units. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2018 as amended by the City of Tucson.
6. Provide an auxiliary or secondary condensate drain system for the fan coils. Reference: Section 307.2.3, IMC 2018
7. Revise the ventilation calculations using the occupancy classifications of Table 403.3.1.1 that most closely match the actual use of each ventilated space (e.g., corridors are not offices, reception rooms are probably closest to main entry lobbies, etc.). Verify that all ventilated spaces have been included in the analysis. Reference: Section 403.3.1.1, IMC 2018.
8. See Table 403.3.1.1 for the minimum exhaust flow rates needed for restrooms (i.e. the flow rate is determined by both the number of water closets and urinals in each room as well as continuous operation versus intermittent operation of the fan). Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4) and 403.2.2, IMC 2018.
9. Clarify the design for the return air for RTU-3, RTU-6, and RTU-10. The transfer ducts for these rooftop units makes it appear that the egress corridors are acting as return ducts. Reference: Section 601.2, IMC 2018.
10. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified rooftop units. Reference: Section C403.1.1 and C502.2.3, IECC 2018.
