03/08/2019 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Please address the following electrical plan review comments. Also provide a written response.
1. The changes to the electrical plans per this second submittal is to the extent that the Commercial Electrical Plan Reviewer is requesting the electrical design and drawings to be performed and sealed by a Professional Electrical Engineer registered in the State of Arizona.
2005 Arizona Revised Statutes - Revised Statutes ยง32-143 Exceptions
An architect, geologist, engineer or landscape architect registered under this chapter may engage in practice in another category regulated pursuant to this chapter only to the extent that the person is qualified and to the extent that the work may be necessary and incidental to the work of the registrant's profession on a specific project. This exception does not apply to public works projects.

2. The first submittal shows the total building electrical load calcs at 175 amps, utilizing an existing 200 amp service. The resubmittal shows the total building electrical load at 215 amps utilizing an existing 400 amp service. Was this an oversight from the first submittal?
3. Show the locations of the sub- panels, and the electrical service.
4. Provide a complete single line diagram for the electrical service and associated downstream equipment. See the City of Tucson Commercial Plan Review Requirements (Electrical).
5. Provide complete panel schedules. See the City of Tucson Commercial Plan Submittal Requirements (Electrical).
6. The AC Sub-Panel schedule does not correlate with all the units shown on the Mechanical Plan. Please clearly identify the circuits for the 3 cu's #1, #2, #3, and the 8 Fan Coil units on the panel schedule that correlates with the Heat Pump schedule on plan sheet M-1, also locate the FC's on the floor plans and provide for disconnecting means. The AC Sub Panel shows 12 AC units. Show the correct OCPD's for the equipment.
7. Ref; Plan Sheet E-1. Clearly identify the scope of work. The plan title states," PROPOSED BR'S 9 & 10". However the floor plans show (N) BR 6, 7, 8, and (N) Pantry, (N) hc baths in all the units, (N) Office. If these areas are included, provide complete electrical plans as required per the City of Tucson Commercial Plan Review Requirements (Electrical). Please clarify.
8. Clearly identify what all the load calcs are for, both the existing and new loads. For example, what is the 385x3 load?
