09/05/2018 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. In the COMcheck Envelope Compliance Certificate, the high efficiency HVAC option was selected as the additional efficiency package requirement to comply with Section C406, IECC 2012. In the Interior Lighting Compliance Certificate, reduced indoor lighting power option is noted as the way to comply with the additional efficiency package requirement. The mechanical compliance certificate does not specify how the additional efficiency package requirement will be addressed. Coordinate the approach to be used to comply with Section C406, IECC 2012.
2. Provide heating and cooling load calculations, using the exterior design conditions shown in Section 302.2, IECC 2012, as modified by the City of Tucson.

9. The mechanical plan shows high velocity diffusers for the room HVAC system in close proximity to the face of the Type I hoods. Verify that the location and type of air outlets complies with the hood manufacturer's installation instructions and does not reduce the effectiveness of the exhaust system. Reference: Sections 304.1 and 508.1, IMC 2012.
10. Verify that the evaporative cooling section of the makeup air unit is equipped with a recirculating water system. Reference: Section 928.2, IMC 2012 and ARS Title 45, Chapter 1, Article 12. See text at: (http://www.azleg.gov/viewdocument/?docName=http://www.azleg.gov/ars/45/00313.htm).
09/05/2018 DAVID RIVERA ZONING REVIEW Reqs Change FROM: David Rivera

Building Plan Review (1st Review) Related to DP18-0189 and S18-079
9220 S Houghton Road - I-2 Zoning

TRANSMITTAL DATE: September 5, 2018

DUE DATE: September 13, 2018

COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed.

01. COMMENT: On Sheet 2 under the Administration text block, revise the information listed to correctly state the correct zoning of I-2 instead of C-1, and allowed height under the zone subject to compliance with the Scenic Corridor requirements.

02. COMMENT: Zoning has reviewed the building plans for compliance with the current unapproved version of the development package. While the building footprint is consistent with the DP as it relates to the zoning review purview (Building footprint, Height, square footage, site conditions etc) zoning cannot approve the building plans until the building plans have been approved by the PDSD Commercial Plans reviewers.

03. COMMENT: Zoning will review the building plans on the next submittal as it relates to the zoning review purview and compare the building plan footprint, building height, and square footage and location to ensure consistency with the DP. (Include a copy as reference of the approved and PDSD stamped version of the DP with the next building plan submittal.)

04. COMMENT: If any changes are necessary, due to the PDSD Commercial Plan Reviewer's comments that affect or change the building footprint, height, or square footage, the DP will need to be updated prior to approval of the building plans by Zoning.

05. COMMENT: Once the plans have been reviewed and approved by the PDSD Commercial Plan Reviewers and zoning has verified consistency with the DP, the building plans can be approved by zoning.

If you have any questions about this transmittal, Contact David Rivera on Tuesday or Wednesday at (520) 837-4957 or by email David.Rivera@tucsonaz.gov or contact Steve Shields any time during the week at (520) 837-4956 or email Steve.Shields@tucsonaz.gov
