Martin Luther King Jr. Way (Tucson Market Place Pad) TRANSMITTAL DATE: July 17, 2018 DUE DATE: June 26, 2018 COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and any redlined plans along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. COMMENT: Zoning has done a cursory review of the foundation plans for the Geico building. Prior to a more comprehensive review or approval of the foundation plans permit application the related Development Package must be fully approved prior to zoning approval of the foundation plans. While the cursory review did not yield any inconsistency with what has been proposed and drawn on the current DP (that has been submitted for review) zoning cannot approve the building plans at this time. The proposed building is consistent with the footprint on the DP as it relates to the zoning review purview (Building footprint, Height, square footage, site conditions etc.) zoning cannot approve the building plans until the 3rd Party and PDSD Commercial Plans reviewer(s) have approved the building plans. 2. COMMENT: Zoning will review the foundation plans on the next submittal to assure consistency with the approved DP. If any changes are necessary to the building plans due to plan review comments that affect zoning requirements the DP will have to be revised to reflect the changes. Once the DP is approved by all reviewers and the building plans are approved by the 3rd Party and PDSD Commercial Plans reviewers zoning can approve the building plans. 3. COMMENT: Approval of the foundation plan permit may require approval by the PDSD Building Official before a permit can be issued.
