Ref: Plan sheets E1, E7, E7.1, E8. (a) The panel schedules for panels 'Kiosk 2, 3, 4' show them rated at 277/480 volts, and the other panels at 120/208 volts. Please verify. If this is the case, please revise the one-line diagram to include step up or step down transformers utilized to provide the correct voltages required. (b) Please revise the one-line diagram to indicate all equipment that is existing to remain and or new equipment (both services). Include conduit, conductor, disconnect switches, overcurrent protection, all feeders sizes and types. Also indicate voltage and phase, panel and transformer sizes, ratings for all circuit breakers or fuses, available fault current and equipment ratings (fault current rating), total tenant and building loads. (c) Identify the electrical services shown on the one-line diagram to the applicable building or suite and verify that they correlate with those shown on the site plan E1. (d) Ref: Plan sheet E8. Keynote #10 does not correlate Keynote #18. Keynote #15 appears for the gutters (wireways) and also at panel K1, please clarify. (e) The grounding electrode conductor for the 1000 amp service is undersized. Should be 3/0 cu, per 250.66 NEC. Please include provisions for water or gas pipe and building steel bonding if applicable. #2. Provide for ground fault protection for all 120 volt kitchen receptacles as required per NEC art. 210.8B2. #3. | 06/07/2017 | ROBERT SHERRY | PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Provide air for combustion, ventilation and dilution of the flue gases for the proposed water heater in the central kitchen. Reference: Section 304, IFGC 2012. 2. Provide the basis for determining the size of the pipe serving the central kitchen. Table 402.4 (2), IFGC 2012, based on a 0.5"WC pressure drop indicates a 2-1/2" carbon steel pipe is required for 1688 CFH at 50-feet. Reference: Section 402.4, IFGC 2012. 3. Verify the number of hand sinks and prep sinks used for the fixture schedule and for the grease interceptor calculation. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. |
| 06/08/2017 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. Clarify the disparity between the cooling load calculations (peak total load 267 MBH) and the installed capacity of the eight roof top AC units (443 MBH - assuming that AC-1 has the same capacity as HP-2). Reference: Section C403.2.2, IECC 2012. 2. The existing HP-1 is scheduled to deliver 400 CFM of outside air. Specify the outside airflow rate for HP-2, HP-3, HP-4, HP-5, and HP-6 (2600 CFM/5+520 CFM?). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 3. Clarify the required accessories for HP-7. The schedule for heat pump HP-7 shows a 100% economizer but the mechanical COMcheck certificate does not include an economizer for the unit. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. 4. Provide structural calculations and details to show that the Type I hood is supported from the building structure in accordance with Section 507.6, IMC 2012 (the hood hanging weight plus the weight of personnel working in or on the hood). Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2012. 5. Show that the hood installation complies with Section 507.9, IMC 2012 with regard to non-combustible wall supports (e.g. steel studs). |
