Previous Comment 5; Sheet TS1; Allowable Area Calculation Table: Please verify the change of the construction type to IIIB. In the Code Study, the basic allowable area is indicated as 9000 SF/floor. That number is for VB construction per Table 503. If the allowable area increase for the frontage is calculated correctly on Sheet TS1, you are allowed 18,000 SF for the VB construction, which is greater than the actual area. Please indicate on the drawings the calculation for the allowable area increase due to frontage (IBC Section 506.2). Then indicate a consistent construction type for this project. 2. Previous Comment 7; Sheet A1.0; Floor Plan: The architect of record is responsible for the determination of the fire resistance rating of the stair enclosure. Please revise the note. If it is not one hour rated construction, please indicate a detail(s) on the drawings to meet the fire resistance rating. Include a U.L. listing number for the rated wall and ceiling assemblies. 3.
