2. Provide a cleanout at the base of each vertical rainwater conductor that is connected to an underground storm drain. Reference: Sections 708.3.4 and 101.8, IPC 2012.
3. Show the size, slopes, routing, and termination points for the roof drain and overflow roof drain leaders. Five 4" primary roof drains are shown on the architectural roof plan but the plumbing plan shows three 12" storm drains. None of the other drawings show how they are connected in the building or how they are to be extended to the site storm drain. Five 4" secondary roof drains are also shown on the architectural roof plan but no information regarding the size, route or termination points of their drain leaders are shown. The secondary roof drains shall not terminate below grade but must discharge above grade in a location that is visible to the building occupants or maintenance personnel.
