PROJECT REVIEWER: Matthew Geweke, Traffic Eng. Tech Non-Acceptance: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is necessarily for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. Please include a brief response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed and the original redlined sets of plans for back checking. - Sht. 1: Okay, yes this is within City Limits, sorry I obviously did not clearly explain the intent of what information/definitions that I was asking for. ADOT zealously defends their jurisdictional property lines and right of way, so… since this additional ROW is going to be dedicated over to the City of Tucson, and this is going to be a COT/PIA as per the information provided on the plans, Traffic Eng will treat this as COT/PIA Signing & Striping, and will proceed forward and treat it as such. Please do make sure ADOT has given more than their tacit approval - any future ROW Striping & Signing concerns from ADOT will be referred back to your office. - Sht. 3 Sta. 2+85: since you now call out the R1-1 STOP sign, please add the D3-1 as redlined. The three OM4-3 are shown but not called out, nor is the "Single Arrow" W1-6R and "NPAT" R3-8a. -Sht. 4 Please make a keynote for the OM4-3, R8-3, W1-6R & W1-1R signs. Please place the W1-6R on the center post and the NPAT on either one of both of the end posts. If you wish to email me at Matthew.Geweke@tucsonaz.gov the PDF of redlines and corrected Shts with the revisions of these requested changes, we could expedite the Traffic Eng. acceptance/approval of these plans. The following comments need to be addressed prior to in the subsequent review submittal. Please return redlined drawings with next submittal. 1. Provide truncated domes in asphalt pathway at the roadway intersections. 2. Provide horizontal and vertical control for asphalt path. 3. Sufficient right-of-way will need to be provided to accommodate asphalt path embankment. 4. Address comments on redline plan set. Responses can be noted on redline drawings. 5. Show proposed right-of-way limits include placeholders for recordation information. Please Refer to redline plans for additional comments and comment details.
