| 11/14/2012 | ROBERT SHERRY | PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Comment not resolved; a drain line may not connect to a vent. [Clarify the connection of the drain for lavatory P-1A to water closet P-2A as shown in detail A/P2.0; is the lavatory drain connecting above or below the trap arm for the water closet?] 2. change the 4" CO for P-2 which has a 3" drain (C/P2.0) [Clarify the number of 4" cleanouts shown in detail B/P2.0 for the water closets; the note says 4" WCO (TYP. 6) but this appears to conflict with the other notes in the detail that indicate that the drains for five of water closets are 3" in size.] 3. Offsetting horizontally prior to reaching 6" above the flood rim of the fixture is not permissible except where there are structural problems. [Clarify the note in the plumbing schedule for the mop sink, P6, which says "vent underground".] |
