06/18/2012 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Revise the size of the condensate drains for the refrigeration evaporators in accordance with Section 307.2.1, IMC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson. 2. Clarify the basis for the ventilation calculations. The "zone & area" designations (e.g. "Health Corner Room") do not correspond to the room names on the floor plans - is this calculation for this building? Reference: Sections 106.3.1 and 403.3, IMC 2006. 3. The ventilation calculations appear to be based on ASHRAE 62.1 but they do not include sufficient information to be evaluated for a multiple-zone system. Provide the zone air distribution effectiveness (Section 6.2.2.2, ASHRAE 62.1-2004) and the calculations called for in Section 6.2.5, ASHRAE 62.1-2004. Reference: Section 403.3, IMC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson. |
