SUMMARY: A revised submittal package was submitted for the proposed City of Tucson Arroyo Chico Urban Greenway Park improvements. Engineering Division of Planning & Development Services Department has received and reviewed plan sheets, revised W.A.S.H. - ERR report, revised drainage report, and revised SWPPP documents. W.A.S.H. Overlay and grading permit applications were submitted separately. Engineering Division recommends conditional approval of the applications (Overlay processing required prior to issuance of permits) and provides permit conditions below to be addressed during construction activities.

CONDITION OF APPROVAL:
1) Prior to issuance of any permits, W.A.S.H. Overlay processing is required to be completed.

CONDITIONS OF PERMITS:
The following 7 conditions apply to permits T11BU01194 (Grading), T11CM01939 and T11OT01226:
1) Call for Pre-con meeting - see Grading Note 6 on sheet SP-0.
2) Post copies of permits at site during and throughout construction activity. Assure copy of approved plans is at the site at all times.
3) The existing fence indicated by Demolition Note 6 on sheets SP-1 and SP-2 may be utilized as the temporary fencing that will be required to be in place during construction to protect existing Protected Riparian Habitat areas. Otherwise a temporary fence is required to be installed prior to commencement of any work at the site and shall remain until project completion and then removed from the site.
4) Permanent fencing shall be inspected by PDSD Engineering - call for inspection at commencement of fencing construction and for final inspection.
5) Interim SWPP controls shall be placed within the disturbance limits and within the temporary construction fencing.
6) SWPPP interim erosion controls shall be in place prior to commencement of work. All temporary controls shall be removed, and permanent erosion controls shall be in place, prior to final approvals.
7) Arroyo Chico Wash shall remain undisturbed. Stockpiling materials, vehicular traffic, or any other construction activity is prohibited. If it is determined that there is disturbance outside of the approved disturbance limits or within the Arroyo Chico Wash, a stop work order may be issued, resubmittal, mitigation plans, and fees may be required.
