According to the civil drawings (sheet 19 of 37, dated 11/10/10) an 8" public water main, 65 feet from the buildings, serves a 3" water meter for building A, an 1-1/2" water meter for building B, a 1" water meter for irrigation, and a 6" fire service for all of the buildings. The water pressure calculations are based on only one 2" water meter, located 450 feet from the building. The design water pressure ("low pressure in main at street or external pressure tank") is shown as both 30 PSI and as 54 PSI. The demand for the HVAC equipment (16 GPM) is not included in the water pressure calculations. [Provide water pressure and water pipe sizing calculations. Include all fixtures and the estimated demand for HVAC equipment and process equipment when calculating the total demand and determining the pipe sizes. Reference: Section 610.1, UPC 2006.] |

The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section and the plans appear to be approvable. Once Plumbing has reviewed and approved the building plan zoning will approve the plan. 4. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved and stamped Development Package. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
