12/05/2010 RAY MAJUTA ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied Project: T10CM02692
6601 S Renaissance Dr
Tucson Precision Products

The electrical plans have been denied for the following:

1. NEC 2005 230.2(c)(1) " Where capacity requirements are in excess of 2000 amperes at a supply voltage of 600 volts or less", then a second service can be permitted. Your plan indicates existing service at 909 amps, and new this permit at 965 amps totaling 1874 amps. Future Load inserted at 498 amps. Currently the total does not equal or surpass the 2000 amps required.
In this case you need to obtain "special permission" which requires an appeal to the Building Official.
